You will be creating a Weebly that will serve as your electronic portfolio throughout your World Cultures experience.
Procedure:
Follow the "step by step" procedure [Directions] below:
DIRECTIONS: CREATION OF YOUR INDIVIDUAL WEEBLY PAGE
Ø Access the following site: http://student.weebly.com
Ø Log in with the Username and Password given to you by your teacher
Ø You will then be asked to give your page a name –call it “[your name]’s World Cultures Webpage”
Ex. John Doe’s World Cultures Webpage
Ø A Box will then appear and you will be asked to type in your “Website Domain”.
Ø Within this box you will see a place to type in information:
“ http:________________________” . Type in your site name and then click: “CONTINUE”.
[ex.: “http: KTs weeblypage] – When you want a fellow student to view your site, give them
this address
Ø The “site name/number” will appear in a box,; when you” hit” it, it will take you to your new site
Ø Your new published site appears----but you cannot actually edit this page….in order to edit, you need to re-access your student Weebly by signing in again:
Ø http://student.weebly.com
Ø Put in your user name and passcode
Ø Your site name will show….you need to hit “edit site” and your Weebly is ready to edit!
Ø Set up your Weebly page:
Ø Choose the “Design” tab; select one that you like and hit “publish” [you can always change later in the
semester]. This page will become your “Home” page.
Ø Click “Pages” tab:
Ø Then click the “Save Setting” and your second page will now be created.
Ø Continue on with to create new pages for:
· UNIT III: Latin America
· UNIT IV: Asia
· Final Project
Ø Finally, click the “Publish” tab [at the top right corner] and your Weebly will be completely created!
Ø Now you are ready to change the pictures on each new page with an appropriate picture for each Unit
topic. [I’ll show you how to do this in class.]

- Click “Add Page” [regular page] again. In the box for the “new page name”, type: “UNIT II: Russia”
Ø Then click the “Save Setting” and your second page will now be created.
Ø Continue on with to create new pages for:
· UNIT III: Latin America
· UNIT IV: Asia
· Final Project
Ø Finally, click the “Publish” tab [at the top right corner] and your Weebly will be completely created!
